Fried Eggs Over Easy

I like eggs with a runny yolk. This is a basic breakfast that you can enjoy every day. Eggs are tasty, nutritous, and filling.

  1. Turn stove on medium heat with a pan.
  2. Add spoonful of butter or oil.
  3. Move the butter around in the pan to cover a large enough area for eggs.
  4. Crack 1-3 eggs into a bowl.
    1. I recommend cracking eggs by dropping them from 6 inches onto the countertop. Trust me on this.
    2. fish out any egg shells you see in the bowl.
  5. Pour eggs into the buttery part of the pan.
  6. Let the eggs cook until most of the clear has turned white except a little around the yolk. 1.5 - 2 Min
  7. Use a rubber spatula to make cuts in the whites to separate the yolks apart.
  8. Add salt / pepper as desired. (I usually skip additional salt if the butter was salted)
  9. Flip one section over. Let it cook for about 5-10 seconds. Slide/lift it out into your eating dish. You can optionally break the yolk right now with your spatula.
  10. Repeat with other yolks, flipping one at a time until done.

Bonus

Serve over Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes for extra goodness. You can also rip up a piece of toast into a bowl and serve it over that. Butter optional. Soy sauce can be used instead of salt, also.
