- install power-profile-daemon
powerprofilesctl set power-saver
- on min brightness i get down to about 4 watts draw on idle
- running this did do something weird to my screen's contrast(?). Colors look a bit more blown out.

- Funny thing about the
power-saver
profile is that it makes my screen's colors look different. Colors get blown out like it's messing with saturation or contrast or something.
