Cooking
- 2 cups of water in the instant pot (need this so the IP can come to pressure)
- Put X Pounds of corned beef on a trivet in the instant pot (the trivet is so the beef doesn't boil).
- put seasoning on corned beef
- Pressure cook on high for 60-70 minutes. (make sure the sealing ring is seated and it comes to pressure).
- I did 3 pounds for 60 minutes, maybe for each pound over 3 add 5-10 more minutes
- Quick release pressure after and cut and eat.
Afterward
There'll be water / meat bits at the bottom. You can make mashed potatoes in this or use it as some type of (salty) beef broth type thing.
